Without exports we would have alot of a product. Without movement, the first people of America would have starved to death because it was a new land and they had no idea what was safe to eat.

The Statue of Liberty is a sign of freedom in America. When settlers started coming to America, they thought of the new land as a place of freedom to get away from the mother land. The statue was a sign of international friendship with France. She was named after Libertas, the Roman God of freedom. It is a welcome signal to immigrants from all over.
